Flemish (Vlaams in Dutch)  is one of the two languages of Belgium. Flemish is spoken by more than six million people. Flemish is closely related to Dutch but cultural and religious differences over the centuries have led to different uses in language.

In Flanders, there are roughly four dialect groups: West Flemish, East Flemish, Brabantian and Limburgish.
